1. Who can participate in our handmade markets?
Our markets are exclusively for Indigenous artists, makers and creators. Participants must identify as Indigenous, (First Nations, Metis, Inuit) to showcase their work
2. How can I apply to be a vendor?
To apply, please visit our events page and fill out the vendor application form.
3. How do I know if I've been accepted as a vendor?
Although we wish we could accommodate every applicant, often the number of applications exceeds our available space.
If you find yourself waitlisted, please know it's not a reflection of our appreciation for your work and should a space open up we move onto our waitlist.
All applicants will receive an email confirming if they have been accepted or put on our waitlist
4. What types of products can be sold at your craft shows?
We encourage the sale of Indigenous handmade artisty, including but not limited to beadwork, basketry, beaut products, baking, pottery, textiles, and traditional art forms. Your items must be made or designed by you.
Sorry no resellers allowed.
5. Are there any fees associated with participating?
Fees vary depending on the event and location. Please refer to the specific event details or contact us directly for fee information
6. Do I need insurance or permits?
Food vendors are required to have permits and we work with Manitoba Health and Safety to ensure to get proper liscences for our events. It is your responsibility to ensure you follow provincial guidelines regarding food service.
As for insurance, while we have our own insurance for the event rental spaces, this does not cover loss or damage to your items.it is your responsibility to determine if you require insurance. We are not liable for your items
7. What are the payment options for customers?
Ensure you're prepared to accept various forms of payment, such as cash, credit cards, or mobile payments.
8. Can I share a space with another vendor?
As spaces are limited generally to an 8 ft table, we don't allow for space sharing, however we may consider it under special circumstances.
